Why This Matters
The difference between the cheapest and most expensive subcontractor quote on any trade can be 30% or more. The cheapest quote is not always the best value if it excludes half the scope. The most expensive quote is not always overpriced if it covers everything properly. Without an independent analysis, you are making procurement decisions based on incomplete information.
